That little bit of goodness

I laughed at the beginning of the movie when the general said righteously that every soldier's life is more important than all French medals. I know I'm old enough to understand hypocrisy. I am also thinking, these generals are sitting in the castle, and the soldiers are in the trenches, why? If you think about it, so many people are struggling in the fog of life, and Guo Meimei is sitting in a luxury car, why? Not only the gap between the poor and the rich, but more often the fate of most people is determined by a small number of people. Before, I also felt that migrant workers had no knowledge, and their quality was relatively low. But in the eyes of higher-level people, I am no different from migrant workers. Either ants or cockroaches.
A few sober people living among the masses will be said to be unrealistic because of their little goodness. When most people are stepping on others' heads for their own interests, those who respect others are the most Fall first. So I feel sad when I see the general saying that the captain's soldiers died well, and when I see the soldiers who died three comrades still watching the burlesque.
Fortunately, the captain's rebuttal and the soldiers' chorus made me see the contradictions in us. Good and evil coexist, but there is a little bit of goodness. To put it a bit bigger, we humans still have hope, right? Hey, after reading it, I feel very sad, what's wrong with that guy who is afraid of death? He did nothing and died. What's wrong with the guy who hit the godfather? Where can God come to save us?

    Sgt. Boulanger: Sir?

    Colonel Dax: Yes, sir.

Sgt. Boulanger: We have orders to move back to the front immediately.

Colonel Dax: Well give the men a few minutes more, Sergeant.

    Sgt. Boulanger: Yes, sir.

  • Colonel Dax: How many casualties do you expect, sir?

General Mireau: Say 5 five percent killed by our own barrage. Ten percent more getting through No Man's Land and 20 percent more getting through the wire. Say another 25 percent in actually taking the Anthill and we're still left with a force more than adequate to hold it...
