Xi Lao still fights pretty hard

Hitchcock is known as a master of suspense, and this film is one of his masterpieces.

From the perspective of the plot, the story starts from an old handsome guy who accidentally hit an advertising company. At first, the audience thought it was a homicide crime movie, but later thought that the train loves YP movie, and then turned into a spy movie. Suspense has always existed, and the plot continues to develop around the question of why the male protagonist is being hunted, who is hunting, and whether to find the police or the murderer. The wit and acting skills of the male protagonist make the plot development of this character appear very natural. The two sentences Stop before and after sneaking in from the window, one deterrent, one springing, and the charm of the male protagonist is fully engraved while being funny.

I have to say that the dialogue between the male and female protagonist on the train and the dialogue in the grove are very flirtatious, but not touching, just like the sexual suggestion that the train goes into the hole in the ending, it seems that everyone is happy and actually very empty.

The disadvantage is that there are many plots that cannot be rationalized. Here are a few questions:
1. From the beginning of the movie to the escape from the auction house, if the killer wants to do it, why can't you hire the murderer in public? Every time, I give close-ups of every Ma Tsai's eyes that are not easy to start. Does the villain have the money to hire Ma Tsai but don't have the money to hire a bad guy?

2. If the heroine is bored and likes the villain and has a sense of accomplishment because of the task, then why does the heroine risk his life and continue to perform the task afterwards?
The sense of accomplishment in the task is more than the love for the hero and his own life?

3. In the room, the male lead explained to the female lead that she was exposed. Why does the female lead have to go to the door of the plane and run back. When in the room, listen quietly to the male lead and sneak away? Why can't I perform the task without slipping away?

To sum up, this may be the charm of Hitchcock. Romance films are a little suspenseful, and suspenseful films are a little love. I try hard to tell a business story with a sense of art. In today’s words: I feel that he is still quite hard. ~

This book takes the anonymity of people and the ambiguity of identity positioning to the extreme in the context of the Cold War. The composition of looking down at skyscrapers while fleeing from the UN headquarters is particularly Mondrian.

They shouldn't be making films like this. Too much costumes and conversations and hairstyles. Too natural in those delicate parts and too rough with those unnatrualness. Should try the brook trout. A little trouty, but good.

North by Northwest quotes

  • Phillip Vandamm: Mr. Kaplan, you are quite the performer. First you're the outraged Madison Avenue advertising executive who claims that he has been mistaken for someone else. Next, you play the fugitive from justice supposedly trying to clear himself of a crime he knows he didn't commit. And now, you're the jealous lover spurned by love and betrayal.

Roger Thornhill: Apparently the only performance that will satisfy you is when I play dead.

Phillip Vandamm: Your very next role, and you'll be quite convincing, I assure you.

  • Roger Thornhill: Now, what can a man do with his clothes off for twenty minutes? Couldn't he have taken an hour?

Eve Kendall: You could always take a cold shower.
