Recently, through the release of Variety 4, I found director Mai’s previous works to browse and found that this disaster film had not been seen, and Bruce Willis was also a favorite actor, so he put this film on the agenda.
The poster of this film looks like a traditional earth crisis disaster film, but I didn't expect that the second half would actually save the earth in space. I was disappointed not to see the various volcanic eruptions of the Earth Crisis that I wanted to see, and the surface explosions, and the space part seemed too unreasonable and false, so the whole film looked a bit nondescript, neither like a space movie nor a Earth crisis movie. .
Let's talk about the actors, except for Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler, the rest of the actors all performed pompously and artificially. The character design is also empty and boring.
The first half of the film introduces the relationship and general background of the space expedition. In the film, several actors acted like a ruffian. The American people need me, and the people of the world need me. I just want to behave like a bastard to hit me and hit me.
Then a group of people flew into space, and in space they also fudged and exaggerated. The rhythm of the film is not fast, and the various pompous jokes of these actors in the middle are even more disgusting. The command headquarters on the ground seems to be a dispensable existence, and the whole film does not seem to be convincing at all.
Persevering to see the end, Laobu can only stay in space to detonate the bomb. This relationship is rendered very sincere. Whether it is a father-daughter relationship or a father-in-law relationship, people can't help but be moved. But this is also the only commendable part of the film.
Finally, once again thank the United States for saving the world.
And, Mai guide you let go of Transformers...
