You will never have an image of how bad the world is. Sorrow and grief, for every single war. Not until the last minute of the movie, we have got the final amount of our dead body. One million, which I prefer to be written in 1,000,000, does not mean the end of the hell. Slaughters happened, in Rwanda, in Somalia, and in China. Once the peace has been broken, human has returned to the origin beast, to enjoy the feeling of hunting, and killing . Blood are everywhere, as well as in the world's eyes. Human is and must be born evil. That's all I want to say after watching this movie, and all the acknowledges through history. Race, color, and so on, everything can be used as a reason for dividing people. The only thing we keep doing is to praise ourselves by destroying others. No matter Hutu or Tutsi, only if you do not stand in our camp,you be the enemy. In the movie, when the white guys were sending to leave, the falling rain stopped these black, African people, no matter man, woman and the most irrelevant children. The world never shows any fairness, especially for women and children. Women struggled under those evils' sexuality, and the children, as the next generation, became the target to vanish the existence of the opposite. I'm not sure in the real life, the children could still sing and dance in the restaurant . Will the hatred and the fear ever have a change for stop influencing their lives? War brings trauma to everyone, involved or not. It should be a scar left which never disappear, to remember all of the world, you, or we are so evil as a real evil. Paul of course should be the one I admire most. I don't want to call him a hero,as this term would not contain what Paul had done. He completed his goodness through the whole story. Not like other “super” heroes, this protagonist has his own selfish. The family, his wife and children concern his most important. He is smart enough to know he himself cannot rescue every single one. So he didn't go out to save neighbours at the beginning. When they got back to the hotel, he said he could not keep all the orphans or the refugees. I think this is much greater than any other heroes. Because, no real human, but God can help everyone. Human, evil and selfish. But Paul concerns his family, and the people around. He is greater than the reporter than the colonel, as he chooses to stay to give his hands. He is also greater than his wife because he knows exactly what matters to him most, and what is in his power. All of this,show me that Paul is a real human, not a god, but an ordinary one around, who may come to help with his goodness. He should be the hope for us, to not to be desperate to this cruel world. Schindlers List, Cidade de Deus, Blood Diamond, Lord of War, Black Hawk Down, etc. Those movies keep telling us that, the tragedy never disappears no matter the civilization and tech-development. Months ago, the disaster happened in Yunnan province gave me one most impressive lesson. Movies or history is too far away. But the real bloody and horrible scene can tell your soul, what a cruel world it is. Just as, Jack, the reporter said, “I think if people see this footage.... ..they will say,' Oh, my god, that is horrible,' and then go on eating their dinners." Same things happened in real life. The movie may have me feel sad,but the news and unexpected disaster bring the fear which forces me to think. What if I was in Yunnan, at the train station? Or elsewhere? People just waving their knives to everyone and having nothing to do with who you are, what you' re doing and where you are. This accident really scared me. Evils are everywhere around the world, and how would we protect ourselves, and stop ourselves from being evil like them. Aristotle tells about human ethics, human politics thousands of years ago. But the best person he thinks is the man who can think alone. On the other hand, he defines human are sociable. Here comes the question that how can a person achieve his thinking as the best man in the society. Born with the desire of the body and the relation in society, few of us can reach the highest goodness. But we cannot stop philosophers thinking,as although we may never be such a man, it should be an example, a leader. Just as the dream, which technically may never realize. Spiritual support is necessary for the human soul. Hotel Rwanda, as a retelling of one cruel history in Africa, should not only be a scar of African people but every single person in this society.
