The overlapping of dreams and reality, the conflict between the subconscious and the id

Just finished watching the entire series in one go.
All eight, it's tiring to watch.
The first four were watched with relish, and the latter were basically just jumping to watch.
The whole series is too rigid, and always uses a routine to tell the story. The climax is basically rendered with blood and screams. It is a numb mess after watching too much, and there is no sense of substitution at all, let alone horror and suspense. .
The overlap between dreams and reality, the conflict between the subconscious and the id, these things that human beings are still troubled by, it is a pity that the compilation has not magnified it. It could have used Freddy to cross out many wonderful stories.

Nancy Thompson: I'm going to go and get the guy who did it, and I want you to be there to arrest him when I bring him out. Okay?
