I think the most intuitive way to evaluate an actor's acting skills is to see whether he can convince people when he plays different roles, in addition to whether his expressions and body language are rich. This is really a different person.
This is the first time I've seen a movie starring JC.
Although they have the same face, the same soft voice, the same agile skills, and the same occasional arrogant line to take care of the audience's spleen and stomach, the warden he plays here feels a little bit like John Reese in POI Not the same. Hobbes is so cold, he has a substantive coldness to everything (except his butterflies), watching his "9 seconds of torture" scene where the guards punish Rottmayer is scary...it's about time He also showed a slightly curious expression to the person lying on the ground (should be curious about whether he died or not). John Reese will also appear to be colder and more powerful when facing some evil forces, but he feels that his feelings are still very soft. (Is it my own imagination?)
As someone who doesn't usually have a cold heart for action movies, I didn't regret watching "Escape the Shell".
I heard that James Caviezel, an actor with a high sense of moral responsibility, is humble and gentle, and has a hunch that he may soon become his fan.
