After reading Die Hard 12345, the fifth part can be said to be the least nutritious and the most undiscussable. It is hard to imagine that in the 21st century, with such excellent post-production technology and such huge financial support, it is possible to make such a puzzling film.

The second takes place at the airport, where John's wife is unable to land on the plane, and he himself has to deal with the police and gangsters. At least! We can see the passengers at the airport panic when they hear the horror! Everyone reacts normally to events.
The scenes in the third installment were rather lavish and moved to the whole of New York. Wall Street, Midtown Manhattan, parks, all of which may be where we live, and we can also see how the entire city would react if a horrific event did occur. Why does the focus at the beginning focus on the feud between a political prisoner and a minister, but it ends with a young man shooting and killing? And what's the point of that woman riding a motorcycle?
There is too much chatter and silence, and even so, the movie is a little over an hour and a half, which further shows that the dialogue outside of the action scenes is dragging time.
I don't even know what the point is when John talks to Sucre. He was going to save the man they were talking about? Or catch this guy? I'm sorry, I really can't understand the sentence "after all, he is my child", I am severely face blind, and I can't remember a character without introduction.
The plot is really unreasonable, and John can go to Russia inexplicably by making any excuses. I didn't find the conversation in the taxi very interesting either, maybe it's because I'm not Russian.
The courtroom can be invaded at will, and there is no one in the house after the explosion. The director was too hasty and did not film the reaction of the people. Yes. When the political prisoners entered the courthouse before, there were so many people watching on the street, but after that they just disappeared from the world. On this point, it is 108,000 miles away from the level of the previous ones. We can only see John and his son going all the way, but we have no way of knowing how ordinary Russians and local police reacted to this incident.

The next thing we see is the drama of the road chase, and in the Russian capital, the traffic problems are the same as ours. In any case, it's obviously possible to shoot a level of excitement like John and the fighter at the end of the fourth film, instead of rampaging down the road.
They arrived at Safehouse about thirty minutes later. What happened? A bunch of bad guys rushed in, John picked up the gun and chug... The third John is battling an invisible enemy. What about the fifth one? At the end of the film, something unbelievable happened: Maozi's daughter shouted without ammunition: "This is for you, Dad!" The film is insincere, the plot is empty, the content is not fulfilling, and the action scenes are too fake. It's all about making money from Bruce Willis and Die Hard. The entire content has nothing to do with public feedback, press freedom and the right to know, terrorist plans, or even the police! Everyone fights for the sake of fighting, buildings can explode at will, vehicles can roll over at will, and guns can be used anywhere. I'm wondering, is it really necessary for this film to be shot in Russia? Why not tell the story, even on American soil? Just replace Chernobyl with any vault or a location with something important.
This one is so different from the previous ones, I couldn't even eat popcorn watching this movie. Because everything has no sense of substitution, it doesn't seem like it will actually happen, and everything is meaningless: the mission plan is messed up, the person to protect is dead, and the important evidence files are not available (maybe they don't exist at all) ...Does it really matter that LAPD goes to Russia and fucks it? At least in the first few movies, the local police would stop him from crossing the line, but what about this one? Not even in the US at all. Isn't he afraid of being punished? Is he responsible for his actions? Why was everyone happy when my daughter came to greet me when I finally got off the plane? It's as if the director is saying, "I don't care about the audience's concern about the plot of TM..." It's as if none of this happened at all.
In the end, I just have one question: what is the significance of John throughout the film? correct! It is to disrupt everything planned by the original son! Originally, the son could successfully complete the task, but his untimely appearance made everything happen later! Maybe our Bruce Willis got on the wrong set and went with the flow.
The thing that saddens me the most: John doesn't have the guts to say YIPPEE-KIYAY MOTHERFUCKER like he knows how bad the movie is.
I hope that if there is a sequel, the level will not be the same as this one.
