All-or-nothing German road movie

I chose to watch this movie, first of all, because the subject matter is attractive. In reality, at least, one has never heard of such a large-scale "breakup company" as in a movie. Before watching it, I was full of curiosity about how the protagonist handled the thorny issue of breakup skillfully.

However, the entire film does not have much description of the content of the "expert" conversation, so it is doubtful where the "specialist" is. At the beginning of the film, the protagonist confessed: "My job is like a postman; but my advantage is to provide psychological assistance at the first time." But in the two important cases on the journey, the protagonists were both in a state of embarrassment and lack of adaptability. The only successful case based on the protagonist's strength (church chapter) is also a completely head-to-head force, with no technical content, let alone "psychological assistance"? Unable to create a realistic protagonist, lack of details, the script is a detracting factor.

Compared with the unconvincing content of the work, the protagonist's reflection on himself and his work during the journey may be even more painful. In fact, helping others to break up is more neutral in itself. Breaking up couples and families without in-depth understanding is not a good idea, but there are situations that show the positive aspects of the job. Knowing how to be responsible, yearning for a beautiful love, and helping others to break up peacefully are not contradictory. The core themes are unconvincing, and you can also glimpse the level of the entire film, as well as the level of the script.

But excluding the above flaws, the whole film is composed and a successful road comedy. The structure of the story is honest, the theme is quickly pointed out at the beginning, and the foreshadowing is completed within half an hour. At this point, the main characters and their purposes, the potential contradictions have been completed. The male protagonist, behind the arrogance, is a lack of courage, untouchable. Correspondingly, the sloppy loser Toto is actually empathetic and full of positive energy. The two gradually got to know each other during the journey, their emotions deepened, and the protagonist finally let go of his burden and made changes. So while the jokes continue (even if they occasionally appear exaggerated and old-fashioned), the plot will not forget to build the respective clues of the two main characters, and eventually converge to expose the truth.

In addition, photography, music and other aspects are also very stable. Like many comedy films, this one falls short of the level of recommendation, but it's not easy to provide some laughs.
