One day, Gru was kidnapped by a stunt female agent Lucy Wilde (voiced by Kristen Wiig). The serum from the science laboratory in Antarctica was stolen by a mysterious thief and injected with the serum. Creatures will become extremely ferocious. Lucy's anti-bad guy group discovered that the thieves were hiding in a big shopping mall. They commissioned Gru, who has experience with bad guys, to do an undercover investigation of the real culprit.
Gru accepted the task, and with the help of Lucy, Dr. Nafalio, and a group of minions, he caught the real murderer. Gru also gained love and had a wedding with Lucy.
Compared with the first one, the critically acclaimed Minion’s role in playing treasures has increased significantly, and Gru, who has become a good person, lacks characteristics and has become mediocre. There are a lot of laughs, but the story is much weaker, and the villain is too weak.
