However, when he was not confused, on the surface, he was troubled by two things. Based on the extremist ideology of "if you can't get it, you will destroy it", killing heroes and stealing secret books, and since then, they have moved to the opposite side of society and become a "poisonous dragon".
2. Li Mubai and Yu Xiulian
Besides, many years ago, Wudang Li Mubai had just started to roam the rivers and lakes. During a fight, his good brother Meng Sizhao died trying to save himself. So the good man Li Mubai shoulders the heavy responsibility of carrying water for the widow, and often takes care of Yu Xiulian, who is married to Meng You. The two fell in love for a long time, but they couldn't let go of their guilt towards Meng, so they had to treat each other as confidants and deceive themselves. The ambiguous feelings tortured the two from youthful youth to leftover males and females, until the entire rivers and lakes had recognized their relationship, and the Party Central Committee (Master Baylor) began to pay attention to their marriage. Especially after Xiulian's father passed away, Brother Mu Bai began to suffer from double guilt. Apart from love, Li Mubai is a person with a head and face. In the past, acting stupid was because he was afraid that he would be stabbed in the spine by marrying a friend's wife, but now his father is exhausted, and a woman ran into the rivers and lakes, and he continued to play stupid because he was afraid of being scolded. The story in the movie starts here. Li Mubai, who was in a dilemma, decided to retreat and practice, using Taoist thoughts to resolve his own knot, but ended in failure. He found that he had touched "a realm that Master has never pointed out" (actually, Master has been there, but I'm just embarrassed to say...), and he couldn't find the answer, so he had to break the precept and leave the border ahead of schedule. This in itself is a denial of Taoist philosophy. At this time, Li Mubai was only one step away from running towards the free world. He chose a compromise plan, which proved to be a gradual plan in the future - quitting the arena and letting Xiulian hand over the Qingming Sword to Lord Baylor for safekeeping.
If the story continues like this, in the future, Li Mubai will go to the capital to find Xiulian to confess and quit the arena together. Since then, the prince and princess will live a happy life, which is a fairy tale. However, the appearance of Yu Jiaolong disrupted the whole situation.
3. Yu Jiaolong and Qingming
Sword Qingming Sword is Li Mubai. Like the heroines of all Hollywood movies, Jiaolong is of noble birth, rebellious in character and longing for freedom. The two most important fighting scenes in the whole film are between two women, and both revolve around grabbing swords. Both times, Jiaolong finally won the sword. It's not that her kung fu is really better than that of Xiulian, but that she is bad enough and free and easy. Speaking of which, I couldn't help but brag about the international chapter. The sudden change in the situation in the cave connected Li Mubai's three troubles together, and solved it at the same time----the appearance and death of the old fox, but the great revenge of his teacher; the sudden arrival of death completely got rid of the entanglement of red and white roses, Brother Mubai was guaranteed to die in the evening.
4. The old fox and the little fox
The old fox was obsessed with martial arts, became obsessed with demons, and did all the bad things in his life. The only thing he was proud of was the excellent apprentice Jiaolong. However, in the reincarnation of the world, Li Mubai's appearance repeated the scene of the old fox and Jiang Nanhe. The difference is that the little fox's "authenticity" is not bad, and the orthodox won again. This was unacceptable to the old fox. She shot the poison needle at the little fox, her "only relative and only hatred".
Ang Lee finally pointed the source of evil to greed and jealousy, and the old fox who revealed his true form is exactly the same as the classic American image of the clown. While restoring traditional Chinese martial arts and Taoist culture, it also allows Western audiences to understand. The most rare thing is that he used the true meaning of Chinese martial arts to point out the road of redemption for goodness. The biggest difference between the old fox and the little fox lies in the culture. The old fox is illiterate, and even if he steals the scriptures, he will end up going crazy.
At the end of the film, Yu Jiaolong went to Wudang Mountain not to look for Xiaohu (this spare tire, Xiaolong's heart already belongs to another place at this time), but to convert to traditional morality.
