There are many leaders in the world, some lead their countries to conquer the world, some turn their countries into corruption, and some leaders govern their own countries. But after watching this movie, I realized that leaders exist to bring freedom and equality to everyone, not to conquer other countries. Maybe you conquered the world and people all over the world became your slaves, which is not good, because you dyed the world the same color, the world is beautiful because it is colorful. The real leader can be said to be a gun. This gun is not used to hit people, but to penetrate the rules, or to penetrate the incorrect rules. Maybe someone will use this gun to fight, but that's all results are not obtained. Jesus conquered the world without a soldier or a sword, and he used the gun on rules and beliefs, and so did Lincoln, he pointed the gun at the constitution of the black slaves and freed them .

"It's a shame to throw it away, it's tasteless", to some extent it was my real feeling when I watched "Lincoln" for the first time tonight. -2013.01.03 —— Because of the 12 Oscar nominations, the motivation to watch the second time was generated. As a result, I just insisted on watching it intermittently. -2013.01.24 —— Congratulations to Daniel Day-Lewis for winning the Oscar for the third time. The best film is "Escape from Tehran", which is quite satisfactory. -2013.02.25

After watching the synopsis, somehow I wanted to give it five stars, but after calming down and watching the movie, I found that I still don't like watching biopics. Lewis is a god of acting, and he deserves to be crowned emperor three times.

[Giving a speech at a dedication, Lincoln stands beside the flagpole, and with great ceremony takes off his hat, removes a piece of paper from inside and unfolds it, then puts on his glasses]
Abraham Lincoln: [reading] The part assigned to me is to raise the flag which, if there be no fault in the machinery, I will do. And, when up, it shall be for the people to keep it up.
[takes off his glasses and re-folds the paper]
Abraham Lincoln: That's my speech.
[laughter]

Abraham Lincoln: [greeting a pair of visitors from Jefferson City] I heard tell once of a Jefferson City lawyer who had a parrot that would wake him each morning crying out 'today's the day the world shall end as scripture has foretold'. And one day, the lawyer shot him for the sake of peace and quiet I presume, thus fulfilling, for the bird at least, his prophecy.
