far-fetched all the way

In martial arts novels, there are often extrajudicial organizations that punish evil and promote good, such as Liangshan heroes. According to the logic of Mr. Jin Yong's conception of martial arts novels, it is called: creating heroes in troubled times. So when you read Mr. Jin Yong's novels, you won't feel that it is too far-fetched. On the contrary, it will make people feel that this is a matter of course, and the officials are forcing the people to rebel.
In this movie, the assumptions such as "chaotic times" seem to be insufficient (I really don't know much about the national conditions of the United States), so this movie gives me the impression that it is more like a group of paranoid people with abnormal mentality Under the banner of justice, they meet their individual demands. So, the film starts off low, I don't feel the slightest humanistic concern, but instead it's violence and occasional racism.
I really feel this movie is so bad.

  • Chris D'Amico: Javier, thank you. I couldn't do this without you. You're pretty much like the only real family I have left.

Javier: Not a problem, man. I got your back.

Chris D'Amico: Hey, it's kind of like you're the Alfred to my evil Bruce Wayne.

Javier: Did you just call me your fucking butler?

Chris D'Amico: Yeah, is that not a compliment? Shit, my bad.
