The movie is full of greed, betrayal, lies, promiscuity, ridiculous farce.
But that's what love is, it's all part of love. I love you, but I also love money, so to keep my money and make up lies will not make you sad. I love you, but I love him too, so making up lies won't make you sad. I love you, but ethics don't allow it, so making up lies won't make you sad. I love you, the director made a farce in order to let you see the reality clearly, so he made up a lie to not make you sad.
