Love is a Rashomon

This is a film that does not directly talk about love but is born of love. We follow Ellis to search for the truth over and over again, just like the mystery of Rashomon, everyone insists on their own statement. At the end of this Rashomon love story, everyone went in different directions: Mud finally chose to break with Juniper and transformed into old Tom, Ellis came to the town to show a smile to a strange girl, and Juniper would also use the sole of his shoe to extinguish the cigarette butt. Leaving the motel she couldn't bear to start a new relationship.
The film has a strong poetic feel, but it can't find a perfect love, nor a lovely woman. I think the director didn't intend to criticize women. He showed us that bitch will cry because of losing love. She has followed her because of her love for Mud, but her bad habits are hard to change. I have several such examples around me. (Personal perverted view of love is: either I love you so much that even if you sleep outside with 10,000 women, you will be a bull and a horse without any regrets, never guess too much, just want to be with you; No need for Zhong Yongshi. I hate entanglement and entanglement the most, too tired to bear wow.) In the
story, Mud and ELLIS are set up as a mirror relationship: Mud, who is wanted by the city, is always unkempt, and he is a standard fugitive image. Love is the original intention of his crime; Ellis, who lives under the pressure of parental discord, does not like to go home, and also believes in love and uses his fists to protect the girl he likes. At the same time, Mud is also a combination of Ellis' internal character and Neckbone's external destiny. In his heart, there lives a teenager who believes in love as much as Ellis, and Neckbone is in a state of being adopted by the old agent Tom since he was a child without parents. After losing the only woman in the story who deserves to be cherished, old Tom decided to live in widowhood and stay away from the world.
By the way, sludge can be a gathering place for black pit vipers, or it can be the soil where white lotus flowers bloom, so I think this Chinese title translation is in place.

    A real-life version of Huckleberry Finn's adventures, and it's Oscar-worthy. It's great.

At first glance, I thought this translation was unreasonable, and it was clear that "Made on the Mississippi River" was more appropriate, but after reading it, I felt that this title seemed to be the best: quiet Mississippi River, strong southern accent, two boys exploring in the mud of life growing. The story is eloquent, and the rhythm is relaxed. Thumbs up.
