soul mate

How many people marry for materialistic realities,
and how many marry their destined partners?

This movie, earlier than my husband heard about it,
watched later than he did.
In 2007, he watched it on a plane to Seattle, and he
mentioned it to me many times when he came back.
Finally, 20 years after the film was released, I watched it.

read it three times. After reading it twice, find Jinyumeng and watch it.
Jin Yumeng watched it twice, looked back at the film again, and
finally decided to write something.

Compared with Jinyumeng, this film has more fireworks.
Commoners, no fancy clothes and jewelry,
no oil tankers or journeys,
no paradise and old grandmothers,
just worldly jobs, worldly people, worldly troubles.

People don't believe in so-called soul mates,
so they all form worldly marriages.
However, those who have experienced it believe it.
For Annie it was a handshake, for me it was a hug.
The unforgettable moment at that moment, the no regrets and no regrets at that moment,
can be worth all the torment of worldly life.

Whenever any small friction occurs, I
will remember the firmness of the past,
the courage that never compares with anyone else,
and never think of breaking up.

Whenever the movie is nearing the end and the two have not been together yet,
I will frequently call out the time schedule and start worrying,
reflecting on the fact that I have never been anxious in real life.
That's it, it's your destiny, God won't let you miss it; it's
not yours, you will be afraid, anxious, hesitant, and finally give up.

I would say that soulmates do exist.
When you encounter it, you will naturally stick to it, and will not fade away because of the mundane firewood, rice, oil, and salt.
The happiness of princes and princesses may be too ignorant of the world,
and the frustrations and troubles of the poor people make a perfect marriage.

Sleepless in Seattle quotes

  • Sam Baldwin: There is no way that we are going on a plane to meet some woman who be a crazy, sick lunatic! Didn't you see "Fatal Attraction"?

Jonah Baldwin: You wouldn't let me!

Sam Baldwin: Well, I saw it, and it scared the shit out of me! It scared the shit out of every man in America!

  • Becky: What about the letter?

Annie: It means nothing. It was written before I went out there. Before the ho.

    [sighs]

Annie: The only thing is, she didn't look like a ho. She looked like somebody we would've been friends with.
