It's all about control.
Control is both a physical act and a mental act. I'm not a fan of plasma tablets, but the admiration for this show lies in its deeper control of human behavior.
The difference between a pervert and a sick person is that the former has the ability to control their own behavior while the latter does not. In the film, the illusion and reality are intertwined, the calm psychoanalyst and the police detective who rely on perception and imagination to reconstruct the crime, the original recipe and the diners with a clear conscience, the treatment to control the patient's psychology and the perception ability that will inevitably get out of control, Out-of-control violence and orchestrated carnage are more chilling than blood-consuming zombie films, and more passionate than dream-consuming drafts.
