Derek Cianfrance is a non-narrative director, and the film is divided into 3 parts. The three stories that took place in the span of 15 years are relatively independent but inextricably linked. Unfortunately, they are too scattered. The story revolves around the pine forest, where the pine represents human desire. The three protagonists also made choices in the pine forest because of their own desires. In the end, Jason chose to forgive and left the pine forest, while Avery and AJ continued to sink. Actors of course love Gosling the most, especially the long shot from the RV to the circus that kills people. Eva also plays his girlfriend in the film. Although the two have not many roles, they are very touching. The only downside is that Gosling is a little too much like his last drive-away. On the contrary, Bradley Cooper surprises people, putting aside the burden of the handsome guy, and plays a cowardly and unscrupulous policeman into three points.
