HBO "Wire" inscription S01 collection

Speaking of HBO and HBO's drama "Wire", not many people may understand. Even in the United States, cable TV stations like HBO are not mainstream. In terms of ratings, cable stations are generally not high (someone must mention "Walking Dead", alas, that's a special case). For example, HBO's "Game of Thrones" had 4.87 million viewers last Sunday (S02E04). If it is replaced by a radio and television network, this is a very general number (if it is lower, it will be cut off). The broadcast network’s program cattle, the ratings are less than seven million, you are embarrassed to say hello, tens of millions of programs abound, the five major broadcast networks rely on ratings.

The ratings are not good. A total of 5 seasons are not considered longevity. Why is "FireWire" a drama? God is on IMDB-rated 9.4 (95,137 votes), tied for first place with "Game of Thrones" and "Breaking Bad". (In fact, IMDB’s number one TV series is BBC’s "Planet Earth"/9.5, but "Planet Earth" is a documentary, and IMDB divides these programs into one big category. This is a digression.)

Insert a sentence, "Game "of Thrones" and "Breaking Bad" have 30W+ and 20W+ votes respectively. "FireWire" has a small number of votes and such a high score, which seems to be suspected. This is another issue. I have a chance to discuss it again. For the time being, I believe that "FireWire" has not been greatly affected by IMDB.

"FireWire" has a practice in this series. There is a "inscription" at the beginning of each episode. In fact, it is more appropriate to call it "Introduction". The way of inscription is very simple, just one sentence, displayed in white on a black background. The content is not a famous quote, but a line in this episode. The inscription is not necessarily a sonorous rhetoric. For example, the inscription "This is me, yo, right here" in S01E12 is simply a vernacular? How can it be placed in such an important position at the beginning of each episode like the title?

In fact, it makes sense.

The following is the title of each episode of S01. Although it is in English, it is easy to understand. If you are interested, talk about it slowly in the future, even as a review of the "FireWire" series.
