Inspiration from the film: It is never too late to pursue our dreams, miracles can be created by each of us, depending on whether we want it or not. In the pursuit of dreams, there are bound to be many setbacks and obstacles: lonely practice day after day, family responsibilities and pressures, lack of support from relatives and friends, and lack of understanding from society. But all kinds of tests are just whetstones. They test our willpower and how much we want to achieve our dreams.
The film is based on real events. Jim Morris in his life finally joined the MLB at the age of 35 and became the oldest "rookie" in the history of professional baseball for 30 years.
