Be serious and you will lose

Zombie movies have always been the type of movies that you lose if you are serious. This film is no exception.

A seemingly impossible love, a Hollywood happy ending version of Romeo and Juliet. This popcorn movie without any baggage never requires any thought. Nicholas Holt has been acting cute all the way, and the heroine Teresa Palmer has been playing cool. John Malkovich is now playing all kinds of sauces with ease in Hollywood films.

Director Jonathan Levine is an independent rookie who has risen in recent years. In 2008, "The Odd Factor" was bought by Weinstein in one go. But this film seems to be an attempt to move closer to the mainstream commercial film, I hope not to become the one who follows the trend again.

This little brother looked really good when he was a zombie. Since he met the heroine, he started to go downhill until the end, and he was a mediocre and boring adult.

Three and a half minutes, it's quite interesting, if you don't want to say it plainly, but the level is limited and the depth is not completed. But I am very optimistic about this director and look forward to the next film.

Warm Bodies quotes

  • R: Stay... together... safe.

[a goat separates from a passing herd and walks toward him. R sidles away from it]

R: ...oh... no... oh no... please... go! Go with your friends! Shoo! Leave me! That's it. Okay.
