"Michel": a weak soul locked in a closed room

A 10-year-old boy who was locked in a basement was only released at dinner time and watched TV for a few minutes, while spending most of the rest in a small room with a heavy door. Catch up with the owner, Michael, when he's in a good mood, take the boys out on an outing, or play jigsaw puzzles together at home. If Michael fell ill and was hospitalized or traveling for a few days, the boy would be left alone in a small room for a few days. The boy finally couldn't bear this kind of closed life, and one day, he boiled a pot of hot boiling water and waited at the door, and poured it on Michael who opened the door. Although the boy struggled to escape from the basement, he was locked in the hut, and Michael, who was severely scalded to the face, crashed and died on the way to the hospital. A month later, the latch of the hut was opened again.

At first, I thought it was a strange education of a father and son, but with the development of the plot and the deepening of the relationship between the characters, it turned out to be a perverted and heavy taste of pedophiles. The biggest feature of this Austrian pedophile film is that it is pragmatic in literature and art, without the full gimmicks and aura of other commercial films. Especially in the last section of the film, when the funeral was held for Michael, when the mother and brother came to Michael's house to clean up the housework, the slow clean-up actions and the boring homely conversations made people feel agitated and anxious, I really wanted to treat them Roar loudly: There is a child locked in the basement, what are you talking about! When the mother passes by several times and finally opens a gap in the closed door, the film ends there, reaching the climax of the Spanish thriller "The Dark Side".
