Everything is just a fairy tale.

First of all, I really like The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, all of them. So this movie is called a prequel, and I have to watch it. After reading it, I am quite satisfied. I don't know why so many people say they don't like it. What are you expecting? Some people say Disney is going downhill or something. Radish and greens have their own love. I think it's a childish movie.

As a prequel, the first 20 minutes of this film are in black and white, as a tribute to the Wizard of Oz back then [many people know this] [and then I see later that there are actually all kinds of metaphors, such as the assistant is a monkey wheelchair girl It is a ceramic girl, etc., which is very similar to Green Field, the three farmers are the scarecrow and the tin man lion, and Miss Gao is the bad witch].
In The Wizard of Oz, the old man Oz said he was the chief pilot of the circus's hot air balloon. Ozzy here is a conjurer. Although they all came to the country of Oz by hot air balloon, the old man said that he encountered air currents in the air. The Oz here was because of a tornado, just like Dorothy. This has been adapted.

In The Wizard of Oz, the good witch appears twice in the form of bubbles, and the good witch here also flew in the form of bubbles.
The Wicked Witch of the West—that is, the ugly green-faced—sister of the Wicked Witch of the East. When she was a good witch, her sister said her talent was anger, remember? Then in The Wizard of Oz, the ugly green-faced monster has been breathing fire all the time, except for the fire, she didn't see any other ability. ...The prototype of the monkey named Finley is estimated to be the monkey that has been following the green-faced ugly monster in the green field, and has the same wings and uniforms.
Then China Town Ceramics Country is written in the original book of "The Wizard of Oz", and it was not filmed in the movie. Everything in this city is made of porcelain. The writers seem to have put some thought into it.
Oz's device, I forgot what it was called, it magnified itself in the mist. When Dorothy and the four of them went to see Oz in The Wizard of Oz, the old man was hiding behind the curtain and manipulating the same thing. [Oz in the original book is not like this. It is estimated that Baum was not so high-tech when he wrote the book. ...But then again, the movie and the original are very different from the original, so I don't care.]

The land in the Good Witch's Protective Shelter is populated by Munchkins. There are dwarves in the green field, and there are a few others in the demon realm. This is where Dorothy later fell. Have you noticed that the appearance here is very similar, even the yellow brick road is the same. In fact, the Emerald City is also very similar, and the poppy flower in front of it makes people want to sleep, and it is the same as in the green field.

Since I went to the cinema alone, I didn't have anyone accompanying me, so when I had something to say, I could only keep it in my heart. What I wrote above is basically what I wanted to say when I saw a place similar to the green field. ~ In fact, it is still a little excited. It's a childhood memory after all. One of the big selling points of this kind of prequel movie is this, and I keep looking for similarities every time I watch this type of movie.

After reading it, someone asked me if the last two bad witches died, and I said they didn't die and just ran away. This is not like an ordinary story. In the end, the wicked dies and the good people live happily ever after. If the two bad witches here die, there will be no Wizard of Oz. Didn't the two witches say they were going to come back for revenge? So then Dorothy's house crushed the Wicked Witch of the East and melted the green-faced Ugly with water. [There will be cracks on her face when she cries before she goes bad in the magic realm, indicating that she is really afraid of water] Oz also took a hot air balloon back to his hometown in The Wizard of Oz. [The good witch and Oz in The Wizard of Oz are very old, so it can be seen that many years have passed. . ]

However, this movie did not explain the origin of the red shoes on the feet of the bad sister in the green field. Isn't [the original book is a silver shoe] boundless. There is no way to know how the Wicked Witch of the East got it. I guess I didn't have the time to make it up. .

As for some other things, what scenes, special effects, I will not comment. Disney released a 3D movie, and I expected it to look like this. It's gorgeous and beautiful. The last time I saw someone say that the Western witch Glinda is the real bad witch, I thought about it and felt that the actor's Glinda has a very shrewd feeling. But it's all just imagination. If you want to be more serious, there will be no results for a few days and nights.

When Baum wrote The Wizard of Oz, it became a Journey to the West in the hearts of Americans, and then it was made into a movie and became a classic, which has been handed down. Baum later wrote seventeen sequels, but he did not write a prequel. So this prequel is entirely made up by the screenwriter. The Wizard of Oz is a fairy tale, right? It's for children, so is The Wizard of Oz. It's just that in order to meet the tastes of more people, there are still some adult elements in it. In fact, only watching the story, only viewing it as a fairy tale, this movie is still good. Don't think too much about watching it, just take it as a memory of childhood, it's still very good.

By the way, there is a second part of The Wizard of Oz, called Return to Oz, which seems to be from Disney? CCTV let it go before, but there is no resource on the Internet, and I have been looking for it for a long time. Going to buy a disc. Interested parents can also take a look, this is the Oz trilogy when worn together.

Just write this, everyone can take a look, don't spray if you don't like it, thank you, thank you.
