paperman and the sigh

As an ordinary short film, paperman is relatively ordinary, there are surprises, but the overall creativity can only be regarded as lackluster. During the viewing process, what I kept thinking about was another Cannes short film, the sigh: the same "glass love" in the office building, the same ambiguity between intellectual women and tender men, although paperman seems to be a bit repetitive, but not the slightest Plain, by comparison, it's a little more romantic than the sigh.

Cleverly, paperman avoids the American fast food romance in the form of animation, and some are more detached and high-minded. At the same time, the plot design is solid, and even some French short films feel. In contrast, the three vulgar plots of "the sigh" are much outdated. At the moment when the paper planes flew in the film, I felt the French short film "Red Balloon", which has been around for more than six years. Emotions are nicely pushed up a whole level.
