Are you george

When I saw the middle and late part of the film, I started to think of a self-righteous film review. The beginning was nothing more than "There are many Georges in life" blahblah. I even thought of myself, a young man who was still young, as George.
I think that Georges are nothing more than losers in the secular sense. They are very old, do not have a good house and a car, and their daughter-in-law can’t swipe with a gold card in a big shopping mall, and their children can’t do it. All kinds of second generations, but Georges are usually very kind and popular, but they have to face invisible pressure alone and occasionally spit and scold.
Seeing George begging for Mr. Porter, he was scolded for no stocks, no bonds, no various investments, only insurance with a net worth of $500. My first reaction was that if I were George, I would at least have a sense of investment. I won't let my family follow me like this.

But at the end, I started to sneer at myself again: Did I ever save a person's life? Can I save a person from prison? I can let many people get rid of house slaves, live in their own houses, and have their own business?

Wake up, Sao Nian, maybe I am a loser, but George is not. Put away your doubts or disdain for George, and offer your sincerest respect. There are many standards for loser, but George does not meet them.
If you are just lazy, just not skilled, and just immersed in fantasy all day, how can you do what George did, and what qualifications do you have to disdain George and contempt his life?

When you were young, you might have raised yourself too high, but ignored your true strength. I am not George. I will try my best to love the people in life like George. I will also try my best to do some investment and financial management. If I can achieve both ends, life will be more than just wonderful, maybe awesome or amazing.

Another interesting aspect of the film lies in a new mode of thinking, "What would the world be like without you" pass.

George Bailey: Annie, why don't you draw up a chair and then you'll be more comfortable and then you can hear everything that's going on?

Annie: I would if I thought I'd hear anything worth listening to.

  • George Bailey: How old are you anyway?

    Mary: 18.

George Bailey: 18! Why it was only last year you were 17.
