Comment:

Robert Zemigis successfully returned to the live-action filmmaking industry with this movie. Overall, this is a mature and dramatic film.

"Flight" reminds us of what an excellent actor Washington is. This is his most persuasive, deepest and most layered performance in these years.
—— "Rolling Stone"

does not have many movies that can maintain the character's texture and emotions while maintaining the drama and climax. "Flight" did it.
——The

role in the film of "Chicago Sun" is the most complicated role that Washington has ever played, and his performance brings this role to life.

Information:
The story of the flight is not made out of nothing, It is based on a certain realistic basis. In real life, this incident occurred in 2001, and the protagonist was a Canadian captain named Robert Pizzi. At that time, the Airbus A330 he was flying ran out of dye. He relied on his superb driving skills to make the plane land smoothly and saved the names of 306 passengers. Overnight, he became a hero for the whole people, but the media that swarmed began to dig into his private life and his past as a prisoner. Later, the media's attention shifted to Pizzi, who plunged his life into trouble. The story of this movie is derived from here. Although the story in the film has nothing to do with Pizi’s landing, the film does reflect Pizi’s life.

In the eyes of the directors, such a story, such an image that is hard to say is good or bad, is just a good theme that goes into the heart of the character and tortures the human nature. Director Robert Zemigis said: "This story touches me the most. It is the characters in this story. These characters are more or less people walking in a gray area. They are not good people in a simple sense. It’s not a bad person either. This ambiguous nature is what motivated me to make these characters in this film. Another thing that interests me is the pending actions of the characters in the film. It’s not like it. The time bomb in the suspense film is not like the kidnapping in the spy film. The audience will always be curious as to what the next move of these characters is, and they don’t know how the characters will react and deal with the situation in the film. The connection and emotions between the scene and the scene are the most surprising part of the script. The thickness and depth of the character’s personality is something I never imagined and expected. I feel that when watching this movie, the audience I will definitely be caught by the role of Vip, thinking about what he will do next, and looking forward to seeing his performance and what happens to him."
