The outside world is big, but our own world is very small; we get lost in the superficial prosperity, become dirty and numb in the darkness of the bottom, we constantly defend ourselves, and in the mocking eyes of others, we are desperately desperate Grasping that worthless pride; we pretend to have a good life, convince ourselves over and over and say we have a clear conscience, busy and empty, draining our lives. I have never lowered my head to examine myself, and I have never found out that I am no longer alive, already submerged in the pitiful and hateful ant colony.
