The director Sarah Polley is the female Woody Allen

The film director Sarah Polley is the female Woody Allen. In particular, the second half took a sharp turn and the ending was slightly sad and ironic. Beautiful shot.

Sometimes, regardless of the plot, just looking at the beautiful long shots of the beautiful light, beautiful colors, beautiful colors in the movie is enough to heal. Being a mental coffee break allows me to keep coming back to reality and keep going.

This film has the ability to heal and the plot is strong. Seeing the beginning but not seeing the end.

I love this end-to-end arrangement. The kitchen in the morning light at the beginning reappears at the end. In the same plot, the protagonist has changed, and the mood of the audience is also different.

The rotating plane in the playground also appeared twice. Both times were wonderfully arranged. The first rotation of the plane came to an abrupt end, the game was over, and it returned to the white-gray light. No music, no colored lights, no hair fluttering in the wind. The two got out of the car. In retrospect, it was a warning. Sure enough, the second time was a person's spin.

Michelle Williams has been filming supporting women since Dawson's creek. Now this movie finally gave her the opportunity to play the heroine, and it was a female movie, not a vase heroine. Of course, the great thing about this film is that it is still directed and written by the screenwriter. But Michelle didn't drop points either. Michelle wasn't beautiful enough to be compared by Katie Holmes in Dawson's creek, and it's even worse now that she's grown up. But it doesn't look good, maybe the play is wider. Bibi her classmate Katie Holmes knew. Michelle wins the determination in her eyes.

Love Sarah Polley. I hope that more female directors, screenwriters, and heroines will make more good films.

The picture is like a postcard. The female director's perspective is unique and delicate. She is not Chinese but deeply depicts human nature and love. I like the lines in it. I really want to live a peaceful life, but try to avoid it as much as possible. There will always be gaps, but laughing is better for life, and I want to see a female director direct and act.

Take This Waltz quotes

  • Lou: [to a hesitant Margot] Get in. What are you doing? What the fuck? You're going to ride in a rickshaw!

  • Daniel: I've been thinking about that airport fear of yours, of being in between things. I think I kinda hate it too. I know it's kind of the nature of being alive, but I'd like to avoid it wherever possible. I don't think I wanna be in between things.
