Look at the strange shape from another angle

When I was watching a movie, I kept thinking, what a tragic science fiction this is. The weird type has been trapped in a foreign land for hundreds of thousands of years, and finally awakened by the people of the earth. Alas, people just want to go home, just because it is so long. Ugly, being run over by people on earth with a torch or something.
It is out of self-defense to use the method of copying the earthlings to escape. People also know that being caught by earthlings is a proper specimen...
It seems that long ugliness is not a sin, but it is your fault that comes out to scare people. This is the truth!
But imagine the story of a man on earth trapped in an alien? How will this earthling struggle?
If you shoot a story with the same theme, just change the perspectives of the earthlings and aliens, and then compare it with this movie, it must be a very interesting thing, and a "human-oriented" attitude towards humans. One-sided evaluation? Hey-hey!

Maybe it still doesn't have the technology. It seems that the taste is a bit bad now, although it is still quite scary, but there is too much plasma juice. The atmosphere can still be created. These stupid Americans killed the Norwegian boy with a single shot at the beginning, but in the end they didn't end well. Are they telling stories about themselves?

It seems to try to create extraterrestrial creatures that are more powerful than aliens, but it also entangles the suspicion between people and people, which is a bit awkward.

The Thing quotes

  • MacReady: Childs, we're goin' out to give Blair the test. If he tries to make it back here and we're not with him... burn him.

  • Garry: My God, what was happening to him?

MacReady: If it had more time to finish, it would have looked and sounded and acted just like Bennings!

    Garry: I don't know what you're saying.

MacReady: That was one of those things out there trying to imitate him, Garry. C'mon.

Garry: MacReady, I know Bennings. I've known him for ten years. He's my friend.

MacReady: We gotta burn the rest of 'em.
