Insignificant, enough!

"Insignificant" is arguably the most "under-named" film I've seen this year, because it deserves a lot of writing.

What made me interested was not only the recommendation of a friend, but also the character on the movie poster. I think everyone is no stranger to the well-known American sitcom "Friends". As a Friends fan, I saw the ROSS on the movie poster. The intimacy of the name has become a big motivation for me to watch "Insignificant". Another driving force comes from the film's other star, Simon Pegg, who is also a great man. Remember Sean in "Shaun of Zombies"? If you like black humor, you won't be unaware of him, at least you won't forget his round head, which is even more round than "Pig Bajie" Xu Zheng, haha. It is worth mentioning that he played the first-class programmer next to Tom in the Hollywood blockbuster "Mission Impossible 4".

Ah, seems to have introduced too many actors. Of course this is just the first impression. For me, with Simon Pegg, at least it wouldn't be a bad movie. Next, let's get to the point and talk about how this film is exciting. The film begins with a long dark road, reminiscent of an escape. The next shot is of a loving father accompanying his daughter on a swing under the sunlight. It's kind of confusing. Don't worry, take your time, the story starts here, and the next 86 minutes of tight plot will make you addicted!

The doctor, who suffers from atypical amnesia, temporarily works as a telephone operator, and his partner is a slicker who teases clients between calls. The doctor was unfortunately fired after failing to follow suit. Later, he was persuaded by the slicker to participate in a phone scam, and he also added a partner, a clever girl, along the way. The trembling doctor is not good for his apprenticeship, and all kinds of accidents occur frequently, which makes people laugh and laugh. Brother Slick is helpless, as cunning as he never thought he would be so tricked by fate. The girl always seems to be able to save the day. With her "help", the plot twists and turns, making people overwhelmed. Everyone's identity is constantly changing and being exposed, and the honest doctor has become a murderer, although not intentionally. Brother Slicker turned from a sympathetic father to a complete liar expert, although he was always seen through by a doctor who specially trained his memory ability. The girl does not seem to be a pure girl beauty pageant champion. Surrounding the three main characters are the doctor's police officer's wife, as well as the FBI detective who is clever but is mistaken by cleverness and has no guarantee for the evening. Everyone was held by a rope of destiny, and a knockout match of wits and humanity was staged.

Before the powerful attraction of a huge ill-gotten gain, everyone sins as if no one was innocent, but not all deserved it. If someone asks me who is the ultimate boss, I can only answer you, it is a crying Jesus (this is also a joke in the first half of the film), I never thought that the joke would turn into a tear. This is not a simple fight between good and evil. Each character is not a fuel-efficient lamp, each has its own small abacus, and the huge sum of money is an introduction, gradually pulling out the unknown side of everyone. But in the end, I found that the money that made everyone go nowhere was not important at all. The Doctor's happy family is a bond that the other characters don't have, so while everyone is obsessed with a bag full of money, our Doctor is still using a stuffed toy to put his daughter to sleep. Maybe at that moment, he realized that family love is the happiness that he can't get with money. It's a pity that on this pirate ship, it is not so easy to escape. When the phone at the doctor's house rang, the voice in the phone recording seemed to say, "Sometimes in life, there must be something, but in life, don't force it." The end of the film seems to be a little bit like snipe and mussels fighting for the fisherman's profit, but it also has the irony of the bamboo basket fetching water for nothing, which is the point - trivial.

A good movie will open your mind, and a dark humor movie will make you slap your legs and laugh for a while. "Insignificance" is a good dark humor, and its ending is fruitless and can't help but be thought-provoking. The film left us two major suspense, the first is who will kill the girl and the old deer, and the second is the question that made me tangled, that is, whether the doctor is dead or not, and my final point is that the movie explained at the beginning this problem. Not many spoilers here, in my opinion this is really a wonderful film, from the moment the protagonists step out of the bar, the rhythm picks up and the heart beats faster. Therefore, as a friendly reminder, you must be careful when watching the movie. Don't chew potato chips while eating melon seeds, otherwise you will easily miss an interesting or unexpected or suggestive little detail. The performance of the actors is also remarkable. Although the doctor looks like the dull-headed ROSS, it is also very shocking when he is serious. Simon Pegg has played a liar who seems to be brilliant but is full of flaws. Although the girl who plays the girl is inconspicuous, the character she portrays has to make you admire, or the back is cold, haha.

Finally, I would like to say here to all my friends who like to watch dark humor, like to watch criminal investigations, like compact plots, like unexpected endings, like to explore human nature, like to think, and even keen to find loopholes in the plot: "Insignificant" ”, it is enough!
