I just want to say that this film is bloody, violent, erotic, perverted, and has various heavy tastes to meet the needs of different judges. Maybe the first three episodes are showing off their tastes in order to earn ratings, but don't think that this is the whole of this American drama. Personally, from the sixth episode, the show has begun to capture traces of all the negative factors that have been exaggerated before: infidelity caused by lust, cruelty caused by anger, paranoia caused by resentment, etc., and more and more in-depth. To discover the remaining positive energy in the characters: start to guard because of love, become firm because of family affection, and start to redeem because of remorse. Every character is selfish and imperfect, but everyone is real and should be sympathized with and blessed.
Of course, if everyone is like this, then this American drama will be filmed in China. In the end, of course, there are still evil forces lingering, but what remains is no longer despair.
Like Tate and Violet in the play. The love of two people is crazy and blind, but the crazy Tate has changed from crazy possession to persistent giving and waiting, and blind Violet has also learned to be rational and reserved. Growing up with two people is the biggest factor that I think makes this American drama good.
If you've watched an episode or two and feel that the scale of the show is acceptable, you must watch it. Through all the complicated plots, in the end it will only be very warm and touching.
