The movie itself really isn't that bad if I hadn't guessed the ending in the first 30 minutes. Johnny Depp is masterful as always in his performance, so another wasted performance by such a great actor. I'm not sure if the director wants us to guess the ending or does he really think it is enough to fool us, but I really believe anyone who have seen a suspense movie or two could come up with the conclusion at some point of the film. The worst moment when watching a movie thinking you know the ending is when the ending plays out exactly how you expected it to, this is especially ironic considering the last line of the movie, the directing team simply made a joke on themselves with that line.

The movie was a flop, but Depp's performance was impeccable. His style in the film also set off a trend.

I think Stephen King's script is still good, but whether it's a suspenseful or a split personality film, it's average, but DEPP, you are so handsome as a mental patient. ! !
