Too much misleading, holes throughout - but still worth watching Uncle Liam

There should be a lot of people like me, who fell in love with Uncle Liam from the Tianlong Special Attack Team and Hurricane Rescue, and then watched the film for Uncle.
As soon as I watched it, I knew that this film would be severely criticized, but I think that, except for the N many misleading and N many loopholes, this film is actually worth watching.
The biggest misleading is the translation of the title of the film. The original name is "the grey", which is translated into "The Haze", "Gray Zone", etc. Everyone knows that this is a disaster film. A disaster film is to see how the characters die one by one. Dropped film, everyone, be prepared to watch dead people! But which idiot translated "Wolf Wars", it sounds like a bloody action movie at first listen. As a result, not only there are not many wolves in the film, but the wolves are driven to kill them. This kind of psychological gap, if I didn't want to see the uncle's style, I would have stopped watching it a long time ago. . Then there are the hot-blooded Hollywood blockbuster-style trailers, which don't match this tragic and literary disaster film at all.
There are also various loopholes, such as how the uncle who was bound to the chair fell and lost his chair, and the survivors were all healthy and uninjured (the one who spit blood and died is not counted, there are always several fractures after falling so high, Then ask someone to carry him and finally choose not to hold him back, etc.), the person who fell over the cliff fell to the ground, how could the wolf immediately come over from the opposite cliff and take him away, and finally sit and wait for that person to die? I can't wait to be bitten to death by the wolf. There are clearly signs of logging, but then there is no trace of human beings. The uncle is obviously an expert, so why did he come all the way to the wolf's den... The plot is really not impeccable.
But I still finished the film in a thrilling way. First, the uncle is really dazzling, secondly, it is really thrilling and suspenseful. Thirdly, some scenes are really exciting (such as the crash scene, I went back and watched it twice), enough Heart abuse (the last drowned person is too miserable to have wood). For that, this movie is worth it.
The last thing I want to talk about is the ending, which is completely open-ended. In the last two seconds, I saw that the uncle was still angry and pressed the wolf. It can be imagined that the uncle must have hit a lot of wolves, and if no one survived, how would the story spread and so on. Yes, or just when rescuers arrived, as you can imagine. But in the wolf's den, I really don't think there is a chance of survival, but if the film doesn't say so, I'm not sure. This ending is for the uncle's face, and he will not be demolished.
To sum up, if you are a fan of Uncle, this movie is still worth watching. It is also recommended for those who like to watch sadistic disasters, but only for action, heroes and plots. This is really just a miserable literary disaster movie, barely not happy~~~

The Grey quotes

  • Ottway: [writing his suicide letter] There's not a second that goes by when I'm not thinking of you in some way. I want to see your face. Feel your hands in mine. Feel you against me. But I know that will never be. You left me, and I can't get you back... I move like I imagine the damned do, cursed. I feel like it's only a matter of time... I don't know why I'm writing this, I don't know what can come of it. I know I can't get you back. I don't know why this has happened to us. I feel like it's me. Bad luck. Poison. I've stopped doing this world any real good.

  • Ottway: Do something. Do something. You phony prick fraudulent motherfucker. Do something! Come on! Prove it! Fuck faith! Earn it! Show me something real! I need it now. Not later. Now! Show me and I'll believe in you until the day I die. I swear. I'm calling on you. I'm calling on you!

Ottway: Fuck it. I'll do it myself.
