I love Matt Damon, all his movies are going to be seen. I also love The Bourne Bourne, and every once in a while, the entire trilogy has to be rewatched. Although there is no Matt in the 4, it is a comfort in itself to be able to make a 4.
In biology, there is a term called "isoenzymes", which refers to the fact that although the structures, properties and immune properties of these enzymes are different, they can catalyze the same biochemical reactions. I think The Bourne Bourne 4 is similar to Isozyme.
The director changed, the screenwriter changed, and the starring changed, but the essence of the first three films continued. The same popular male protagonist, the same unpretentious action scenes, the same fast-paced shooting techniques, the same rooftop street battles, the same long-term car fights, the same some vases but indispensable female protagonists , and of course, the same muscle, intrigue, deciphering, open ending. . .
Like the first three films, the inside story is always revealed bit by bit, but we still can't fully know what is hidden under the shady. I know this is definitely not over yet, I guess 5 and 6 are waiting in the not too distant future.
The only thing that makes me feel a little embarrassed is the heroine's profession and the newly added virus-improving gene plot. Because I was watching the translated version, I felt a little uncomfortable when the dub spit out those long professional sentences that were super coherent without breaking a point or even a breath, maybe because she didn't understand it. Of course, who can stop screenwriters from moving with the times.
