A character makes a movie

It's hardly a well-structured, well-thought-out film noir. (A professional killer with a very competent job was silenced by his employer in a confused way. How many people will be willing to "loyalty and serve" for such an employer in the future).
But in my opinion, it is a very charming noir film.
Because it's extremely successful in creating a hitman who truly deserves the sympathy of its audience (note that this is rarely the case in American noir). A very lonely soul. An angel who fell into hell without waiting for redemption.

This noir film about the tragic story of Cleveland-born killer Frank isn't a new idea, but it's still pretty good. The film, which runs through voice-over commentary throughout, is a new take on director, writer and star Allen Baron. The low cost of this black film gives it more freedom. Although the story is not too attractive, the street scenes of a large number of cities make me full of 60s American city lights!

It is more in line with "silence" to remove the chatter.

Blast of Silence quotes

  • Narrator: You're alone. But you don't mind that. You're a loner. That's the way it should be. You've always been alone. By now it's your trademark. You like it that way.

  • Narrator: When the Better Business Bureau rings the Christmas bell, the suckers forget there's such a business as murder, and businessmen who make it their exclusive line.
