This is not a cycle, there is no split personality, just the panic of a repeat criminal before he dies

I thought it was a more popular rendition of David Lynch's cinematic approach. At the beginning, Mulholland Road thought it was a popular version of Yaoye Desolate Trail, and Dark Country combined Mulholland Road's thinking and the background of Yaoye Desolation Trail, but it was more popular and more understandable.
The protagonist Dick should be a habitual criminal who lured strippers to rape and then kill (this can be seen from the fact that the hand of the woman dug up in the rest area is not Gina, there is more than one dead woman), and the last time he attacked was Gina, and He was eventually buried in an abandoned rest area, only to later discover that the watch was missing, sparking fear of crime, and was later killed in an unfortunate accident on the run. When he was about to die, his consciousness was blurred, similar to having a dream like Mulholland Road, dreaming that he was rescued by himself and got into the car, and the woman in the car was Gina who had raped and murdered before, and then a series of plots It's all a microcosm of memory, with the added confusion of panic.

I guessed Bloody Face's real identity as soon as it appeared, so the ending didn't bother me too much. The film is not outstanding among many others, leaving too much room for explanation and doubts, which is too tiring, and the plot characters and scenes of the film itself do not have the same interest as Mulholland, which arouses my interest in wanting to watch and study again and again. Maybe I don't like road movies.
