Eastwood continues to play the role of a loner and unknown gunman, intending to capture the perverted bad guy Indio in exchange for a bonus, but unexpectedly kills another powerful gunman Mortimer also intends to capture Indio, between the two. The story itself is like the western version of Yang Zirong and the mountain eagle. Eastwood, who broke into the gang, made it clear that he was here to get the bounty, but the gangster had no doubts. Eastwood and Cliff look at each other through the binoculars in the window and the exchange of hats for a while has become a classic scene in shootout films.
