"Another Dimension Killing Array" is a classic movie full of philosophical speculations. The gist of the story is: There are six "Wonderful Persons" who are locked in a maze composed of a pile of metal cubes, and there are a large number of various killing mechanisms in the maze. They have to use their respective strengths, division of labor and cooperation, to break out of this high-tech prison.
The six characters in the film represent the six intelligences of human beings:
(1) Lennis, a prison escape and sensor expert - natural cognitive intelligence;
(2) Superintendent Quentin - physical and kinetic intelligence;
(3) Doctor Hollow Wei——Interpersonal intelligence;
(4) Architect Worth——spatial intelligence, self-cognitive intelligence;
(5) Liwen, a college student in mathematics department——mathematical logic intelligence;
(6) Scholar Kazan, who suffers from autism—— Subconscious;
"Flying Condor" Lennis , who had seven prison escapes, died the fastest, which shows that human "natural cognitive intelligence" is unreliable. But he left survivors with a revelation of "trial and error" with boots. Humans can only master certain laws of the world through trial and error.
Afterwards, two characters, Quentin, who has "physical and motor intelligence", and Leven, who has "mathematical and logical intelligence", came to the fore. They worked closely together to lead everyone to break through the siege and get close to the edge of the prison. This implies that among all human intelligences, only these two are the most widely used and the most tested intelligences.
However, because Quentin wanted to abandon the neurotic Kazan, he was strongly opposed by Holloway, who possessed "interpersonal intelligence".
Holloway, who represents "human intelligence", seems to be of little value from beginning to end, but what is the difference between humans and beasts if there is no human brilliance she blooms?
At the end of the film, Levin and Kazan cooperate to open the only channel to the outside world. At this time, Quentin broke out the dark side of human nature, killed Leven, and then died at the hands of Worth, who was dying. All five wise men of "Great Potential" were killed in battle. Only Kazan, who had the heart of a child, was wise but ignorant and had no desires, escaped.

Incidentally, according to Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, human intelligence can be divided into seven categories: (1) language; (2) logic; (3) space; (4) body movement; (5) music; ( 6) Interpersonal; (7) Introspection. In the film "Another Dimension Killing Array", only two kinds of intelligence, language and music, did not appear. Does the screenwriter think that they are "chicken ribs" in human intelligence and are not worth mentioning? smile.

Finally a topic of discussion - who on earth built this cube killing maze? The answer is - ourselves. Yes, there are no perverted murderous demons, no aliens, no political conspiracy, we ourselves have built a labyrinth with unparalleled intelligence to imprison ourselves.
As Voss said, it may be that some bureaucrat had an idea and came up with the idea of the labyrinth, but he had just finished the plan and had already stepped down. His successor doesn't know what the labyrinth is for, but he'll go ahead with his plan to create such a useless thing in the end. In order to prove whether this maze is useful, let's throw a few more people into it for testing.
The "Lennis" use natural cognitive intelligence to invent sensors, the "Worths" use spatial intelligence to design structures and build shells, the "Levans" use mathematical logic intelligence to set the rules of maze transformation, and the "Holoways" use interpersonal intelligence Provide a source of tax protection funds, and finally the "Quentin Superintendents" are responsible for guarding them using physical and motor intelligence... Everyone is both a builder and a victim.
This explains how our totalitarian society came to be. There is no demon behind it, everyone is contributing to build a small part of it, and no one can see the whole picture and operation of this monster. After it was built, due to its disregard for life, this monster began to attack the people who built it. Every victim is cursing the powerful or the rich, not realizing that he actually built the monster himself. And once the monster takes shape, it cannot be stopped.
In a totalitarian society, individual rights and even life have become insignificant compared with collective interests. The persecution of individuals in the name of the collective became a matter of course. We already know these principles in the writings of Kafka, Huxley, and Orwell. However, I was still shocked when I saw them again in visual form. It's a classic horror movie.
