"The Torture Chamber: Death Evidence + Planet of Terror" - a bloody CULT film

After such a long time, I took time to read the two "Execution Room". The old beauty can see two such alternative films for the money of one film, which is really cool. Alternative, exciting, hot, this is definitely one of the must-see films in 2007. If you are a Cult fan or admire Quentin and Rodriguez, then please don't miss this film! (It feels a bit like advertising?)

The film is co-directed by the bosses Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. They say they are co-directed, but in fact they are each directing a separate film, originally planned to shoot two This short film, which is a standard length of 120 minutes after being combined, has now grown into a 3-hour "cult masterpiece" after continuous development and development by the two. Their purpose is to pay homage to the sleazy, sex-filled and violent torture chamber movies of the 1970s, and for us Cult fans, it's to pay homage to the duo. From this 3-hour film, we found the "aged" film quality, adding scratches, white spots and dust on the film, giving a feeling of antique, rich in content: martial arts, zombies, food People, drag racing, blood plasma, stark sex, exaggerated violence, crippled limbs and horrific minced meat organs, plus, well-crafted visuals. All of this allows any audience to experience the essence of Cult movies from a movie.

"Death Proof" - directed by Quentin. A typical road movie, it takes place on the road from start to finish. The story tells the bloody journey of the perverted killer stuntman Mike driving a Juggernaut modified racing car painted with a white skull pattern, all the way to crush the beautiful MM. Mike, who is dressed as a speeding party, is bloodthirsty, specializing in hooking up beautiful MMs in the MOTEL and bars next to the highway, and has tried many times. But his hobbies are different, and as soon as MM takes the bait, he shows a mental outlook that is unique to a pervert - playing "bumper cars"! Of course, this isn't an amusement park, and as a stuntman, Mike's purpose is to kill himself on the highway. Only at the moment when he collided with MM, can he experience the joy of life, so he has a car to accompany him, and he "played" several times. Very unsightly. Even the police were helpless against him because there was no evidence.

But Mike is human after all. When he stared at four MM again, he never imagined that the other party was also a stunt person, and there were two (I vomited blood!), the woman broke out very terrifying, not only did Mike "bumper cars" "Being at a disadvantage, he was ravaged to death by MM's left punch and right punch, terrifying! I think Quentin is telling us two things through the film, first: Even if you always do the same thing over and over again, accidents will happen, and second: Don't think what's wrong with women, once they get angry, the consequences... Look at this film Just know.

Another work, "Planet of Terror", was completed by Rodriguez. It belongs to the category of zombie films, and it is also a typical violence + beauty. Bruce Willis played an officer who took his team on a "Osama bin Laden" mission and accidentally inhaled an inexplicable gas that can cause a person's body to rot, but as long as you keep breathing This kind of gas, the body can still be kept normal. In order to survive, Lao Bu led a group of people to find the source of the virus gas. Who knew that an accident happened in the middle, and the leaked gas quickly infected the civilians in Texas, and the whole town became " resident Evil"!

The male protagonist Lei is an extraordinary person, but he never shows his hands and feet. He fell in love with a woman, Shirley, but because of an accident, Shirley was unfortunately eaten by an infected zombie, so he had to temporarily replace it with a table leg. The city is full of zombies. A group of people came together for various reasons. In order to find the antidote and endless zombies, a hero PK came...

Both films use the effect of old film, which looks like a child sitting in a lighted stadium watching a movie (old to be bitten by mosquitoes), with white spots, smudges and film slippage from time to time. In general, I am more in love with "Planet of Terror". From the plot to the visual effects, "Terror" has been done perfectly. And it is very innovative. The protagonist's prosthetic legs are already fake, not to mention the M16 at the back. It can not only launch grenades, but also achieve the goal of strafing zombies with a beautiful dance. It is matched with the hero Ray's Harley. A perfect individual combat vehicle! The festering of the human face, the blood splashing after being shot, the blood clots flying after the opening... It is not so much horror as it is pure visual stimulation, and there is nothing else to feel except nausea. The director of "Death" is no stranger to everyone. "Reservoir Dogs" and "Kill Bill" have already made everyone familiar with Quentin's style, but I always feel that the plot is wordy, and this film is no exception. The scene is single and the dialogue Many, the performance of the actors is very free and easy, very different, not many special effects, but they look more attractive. However, in comparison, the refreshing level is not as good as "Fear". Although they are all zombie-themed, compared to other zombie films that are dry and bloodless, the zombies in this film are more disgusting than terrifying, their bodies are rotting and pus, and some zombies like to squeeze the pustules on their faces with their hands , and then—splashing pus, spraying people's faces, uh... can't write anymore. The shot is also exaggerated to the point of being outrageous. The bullets have an explosive effect. Almost 30% of the blood will be ejected from each shot, and then it will stick to the lens while splashing around... Therefore, if you watch this first If you watch "Death" again, you shouldn't feel anything. The blood levels of the two films are not the same level, and the plot techniques also have their own styles. It is not so much that the two of them made a movie together for the audience to see, it is better to say that the two made it for their own views on the CULT movie to see who made it. Better, that's why these two movies with slanted swords and strange stories were born. It doesn't matter whether others like it or not, because he is a CULT style, and there are very few people who like it, but I still hope that everyone will watch it, because Only after seeing a movie can you be qualified to judge its pros and cons.
