The trial of a case may not be 100% absolutely fair, but at least it should try to get as close to the truth as possible and restore the truth.
--- This case does not do that. I doubt they have ever verified the veracity of the testimony.
Most people don't want to be left out of the 'majority', so they are willing to believe the 'majority' people, willing to believe that what the newspaper headlines say is the truth, save thinking, and won't be isolated. Best of both worlds.
Read 12, Life of David Gale, always warn yourself to learn to think, learn to question, don't be lazy to be the 'majority' and give up truth and justice.
