In this flashy era, I want to keep my mind simple. Although watching movies care about exciting plots and gorgeous special effects, perhaps when I walk out of the cinema, the warmth of my heart is the most important to me. This is why I like to read childhood fairy tales over and over again.
The trailer for the movie "Brave" said: "No matter what your age, home is an eternal harbor." This sentence really touched me, even if it was just the simplest sentence in this fairy tale.
Watching Pixar's movies again, I always feel the touching details, gorgeous but not cumbersome, surprise but not thrilling, romantic and warm, with ups and downs, and can't help but touch people's hearts. I don’t care that the movie is a re-adaptation of a fairy tale that no one cares about. There will definitely be some people who complain about the old-fashioned plot, but the simple magic of fairy tales is something that no one can resist, even if it is expected. A happy ending, because those tragedies that break the extreme beauty will only make me more complicated, and only a single peace is the soothing agent of society. I have ever wondered why a good film should have an unexpected ending. Is it because an impetuous heart needs to be prepared to accept the stimulating reality, or whether the uncertainty of the current situation reflects a certain resonance in the hearts of the audience, many Why are people not willing to pick up the fairy tales of childhood and immerse themselves in them, why not accept the villain’s due destiny, why can’t they believe in the happy lives of princesses and princes?
I don't want to talk about the plot of this movie, nor how much it has benefited me. In fact, this is just a shocking scene, but a simple plot, but after watching it, it is really full of warmth.
"If there is a chance to change your destiny, how would you choose?" the protagonist Merida asked, and this sentence remained in her mind after watching the movie. Merida used her actions to change her marriage, gained freedom, and felt the warmth of home.
When Merida used a sewn blanket to cover her mother who had become a bear, the sun had already risen, but her mother had not changed back to her original form. We all knew that it must be a happy ending, but when Meili Da Shi cried bitterly when his mother did not turn back from a bear, that kind of touch will surely touch everyone's heartstrings.
I like the English name of this movie better. As long as the simple English word Brave, the simple bravery touches me more. Maybe the movie is going to tell us only bravery, but braveness hides family affection, expectation, yes A brave and simple wait-and-see on life. The story told by Pixar with women as the protagonist this time reminds me of Hayao Miyazaki's animation and the book "Jane Eyre". This kind of women's steadfast character and performance of their freedom and bravery are precious.
When I grow up and have my own children, I will read those simple fairy tales for the children like ordinary parents, sweat the tortuous complex as they do, cheer for the happy ending, and confide the goodness in my heart.
I believe that what I commemorate is the youth and rebellion that have not yet passed away, and the simplification of the complex life that has not yet been faced.
I look forward to my future children will be the same as I experienced, and then return to the innocent fairy tales, and slowly understand the impact of fairy tales on the world.
My requirements for my life are very simple, that is to be able to love simply, have simple bravery, and have a simple heart.
