"Human Skin Inn" Hostel 1, 2, 3 (2005~2011)

The first two episodes were great! The third episode will not work. Once you leave the place of origin, the whole script will be completely discouraged and hard. The director of the first two episodes was Ellie Ross. I checked that this guy acted in a lot of movies at the same time, and I have seen many of them. For example, "The Punishment Room" = "=

the scene where the hotel front desk registered in the first episode. , Quentin's "Pulp Fiction" is playing on the TV. Well, it's hard not to doubt that Quentin didn't intervene in this drama, but in fact he did intervene as a producer. The

third episode is really good Oops, I won't say more. The first episode is set here in Slovakia. Old Mei has a tendency to evilize Eastern Europe. This is a breeding ground for all monsters and a petri dish for all evil. I like Czechoslovakia's saying, don't be casual Change my settings, hey. However, the scene is in a small town in Eastern Europe, and the language is mixed and has a different flavor. Before I watched this film, I thought it was purely a violent film like blood spraying people's meat and barbecued pork buns, but after watching it, it turned out not to be like that. This is the scene that Xianshui saw before it collapsed and blackened. It’s just that the people who were tortured and killed were not monsters, but people. The whole small town was involved in this business. The police and residents knew about the Hunter Club business and were kidnapped. The tourists and homeless people who want to escape will become enemies with the whole city. It's not easy to do. The

evil children are so cute. They have appeared in the first two episodes. This is also a party of underworld forces. Now, especially the eldest brother, they are accurate in their negotiation criteria, and do not hesitate to sacrifice their companions when necessary. Children’s unique ruthlessness and cruelty are all in their true colors. They are neutrals, taking advantage of others, eliminating disasters for others, abiding by contracts, from a certain perspective. Speaking of it, it is quite professional, and at the end, he scolded the bitch for being a bird and a beast. In the third episode, there was no such group of villains, and all kinds of ineffectiveness.

In the second episode, the scene was transferred from Italy to Slovakia. In this sequel, the last one was finished. As long as you become a part of the club, no one can escape, no matter whether you are a guest or a prey. You have already seen the huge customer network of the Hunter Club. From Prey acquisition, auction, and preparations for the banquet are all connected in one line. If this episode wants to surpass the first episode, it needs to counterattack in the plot. The ending tells me that Ellie Rose did it. The hunter became the prey, and the woman When he became fierce, the man could only protect his dick and shiver, but he couldn't resist. In the slaughterhouse and the hunter club boss bargaining here, it is estimated that as long as a man looks at it, it will hurt his eggs. The burly little brothers behind the boss, when the lady clicks and cuts off, that is the expression of broken eggs, not to mention how painful==

This time, "Human Skin Inn" was released to watch because it was in the third episode. I saved enough to start eating, but unfortunately, the first two episodes were still very exciting. The third episode was scrapped, and the scene was set in the branch. Las Vegas is no fun anymore. The director of this episode is Scott Spiegel. Well, the reason for the failure is that he is not Eli Rose.

From anecdotes to movies

Eli Roth has been looking for ways to scare audiences, but he's not like most horror directors. He knows real life stories, some of which reveal the darkest corners of human nature, those more terrifying than monsters and evil spirits. In "No Bones," he turned newspaper headlines about deadly flesh-eating bacteria into massacres among vacationers, and in "The Inn of Human Skins," Ross similarly draws inspiration from real events.

Late one night, Ross chatted with a friend who is a webmaster, and the two shared some of the most disgusting sightings on the Internet, some of which went beyond the usual bestiality and skateboarding accidents, and even two Japanese girls vomited in each other's mouths in the bathtub. Ross's friends told him that he had stumbled across the most terrifying things online, but was hesitant to tell Ross. After repeated questioning, Ross came to know of a website with far more content than he had imagined. It turns out that somewhere in Thailand, there is a trade that makes money by killing people. For $10,000, you can exchange for a loaded gun and a person who is willing to be slaughtered by you. Ross recalls: ".. It makes me feel disgusted, but it does very real to those who are sick, to make their own pleasure, they no longer have any restrictions, this is the most horrible place,"

the site said that this transaction It is allowed in Thailand because the victims are willing. They are all destitute people, and their family's livelihood can no longer be maintained. In order to relieve their families from hunger, they have to sacrifice themselves. The most abhorrent thing is that the site has whitewashed this horrific killing as an act of charity, as if it were serving the victims. Thoroughly shocked, Ross immediately wanted to make a documentary of this brutal deal, but the danger of revealing the truth was conceivable, and Ross shelved his ideas due to the lack of safety.

At the same time, Ross' "No Bones" made a big splash in the world film industry in 2003, and many producers began to hope to cooperate with Ross, including the producer of the remake of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". People Mike Fleiss and Chris Briggs. The pair wanted to make a horror film called "Hostel" about the horrific experiences of backpackers in Central Europe. Ross said: "Like Chris and Mike, I was a backpacker who loved to travel when I was in college. Since 1981's American Werewolf in London, there has been no horror film about backpackers. We are very optimistic about this idea. But aside from the title and basic settings, we didn't know anything about the movie."

The idea for the film was shelved for the next two years, until one afternoon, Ross had the idea that he could draw on the murder trade in Thailand. He envisioned the story taking place in Slovakia, due to its proximity to Paris, Amsterdam and the European travel routes of Spain. Ross's vision of two naive American tourists caught up in the evil world of a murderous organization is a good story for Ross.

At the same time as the breakthrough of the story idea, Ross was considering the shooting plan after "No Remains" and didn't know what to choose. He found Quentin Tarantino and got advice to focus on The Human Skin Inn. "Quentin was a very lively guy," Ross said. "When he got the idea of 'Humanskin Inn,' he got a little crazy, and I've never seen him so excited. He said, oh my God! You It has to be written! This is the most terrifying horror movie idea I've heard over the years! Forget all the other difficulties and go write the script now!"

Called by Tarantino's enthusiasm, Ross unplugged the phone, closed his e-mail, locked himself in the office, and began to devote himself to writing. He recalled: "Whenever I was at a loss, I would hang up on Quentin, usually after a couple of days, and he would get me out of the mess. It was unbelievable that someone like him It’s rare to have a mentor. I can do 20 pages a day, and I can barely stop.”

Three weeks after talking with Tarantino, Ross handed over the full script to his two partners, Booz Yakin ( Boaz Yakin and Scott Spiegel, who were very keen on the script and had some valuable ideas. Ross then handed the revised script to Tarantino, who decided to make the film the second titled "Quentin Tarantino Presents" and immediately joined the cast as executive producer.

Plus, producers Mike Freys and Chris Briggs contributed, adding some more intimidating elements to the script. With the rapid development of the script, the preparation of the film began to race against time, and a month later, the production department was established in Prague.

Wonderful tidbits

· The film used a total of 150 gallons of artificial blood plasma, three times that of "No Bones".

· Eli Ross invited a group of real street children to play the gangster who asked for bubble gum in the film.

·While promoting "No Bones" in Iceland, Eli Ross met Eythor Gudjonsson, was impressed by Gudjonsson's personal charm, and promised to let him appear in the movie in the future. The character of the Icelander Ollie in this film was written specifically for Goojonsen.

·The film took 12 months from script writing to theatrical release, three times faster than the average Hollywood film.

The Czech and Slovak pop songs in the film were hits in the Czechoslovak Republic from 1982 to 1989.

When Paxton was in the slaughterhouse with the Germans, he once said a paragraph in German, which means: If you kill me, it will ruin your life, and every time you close your eyes, you will see me , I'll show up in your nightly nightmares, and I'll ruin your whole life.

· "Fuck" is said 128 times on the unrated DVD release. (I'm tired of listening =. =)

· Ross once apologized to the Icelandic president for portraying the Icelander Olli as a alcoholic sexual pervert. The Icelandic president smiled and accepted Ross's apology, saying that the film presented The unknown side of Icelanders. Ross also apologized to Iceland's culture minister for the film's damage to Iceland's reputation.

·During the filming of the film, director Eli Rose had to rely on live classical string music to relieve tension due to the eerie atmosphere of the filming set.

· The film beat "The Chronicles of Narnia" in both theater box office and DVD sales. The filming investment of this film is 4 million US dollars, which is 1/50 of that of "The Chronicles of Narnia", and the film made 20 million in its first week of release.

·The film was selected as the "Top Ten Films of 2006" selected by French "Le Monde". The other two American films were "New World" and "The Departed".

When Paxton, Josh and Ollie arrived at the Slovak hotel, the hotel staff were watching a movie on TV, which was Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.
