"The Book of Avery" is not such a movie, so it is not black and white, but it is gray. That's because he put the story in the future, a future where the whole earth is almost dried up. It is said that it is the day after the end of the world. The sun is still shining, but there is no vitality in the days, and the eyes are full of ruins, dust, and dangers. In the world at this time, living is the purpose, and rubbish is treasure. A person who survived the doomsday, guided by a magical voice, found a book that allowed people to see the light in the dark night. Unsurprisingly, it turned out to be the "Bible" and not the "Analects", but it doesn't matter, because it is just a representative, a moral, and that is faith!
