Confessions of a Pretentious Man

Koreans test the waters of Hollywood, not once or twice. Obviously, it failed again. However, director Li Dongsheng's intention is still very clear, trying to create Korean martial arts characteristics, so as to make Chinese martial arts dwarf. With a strong special effects team behind it, plus a few stars, I feel extremely good about myself. The flickering and dark colors are dazzling, paired with the slow motion throughout, giving the film's background and characters a "perfect" sense of division. It is not to say that this style is unpopular, but to use color to set off emotions. Without a spicy, strong and interesting story, it is difficult to play an effect. On the contrary, it will go to the other extreme, commonly known as: pretending to force. Domestic urban fashion movies have always been difficult to get rid of such a route. Sacrificing the audience's sense of substitution and resonance to highlight the splendor of the picture is really the best interpretation of abandoning the basics.

    [clears throat]

Ronald: This is the story of the sad flute, a laughing baby, a weeping sword. A long long time ago, in a land far far away, there lived a warrior. A warrior with empty eyes.
