I feel more and more that I can't stand small fresh things. Maybe it's mentality, maybe it's reality. I was still discussing with my friends, why after we reach the age of 30, we gradually become old-fashioned and can't stop it? And many foreigners, at the age of gray hair, still have their childlike innocence? 100 years later, has the cannibalistic society changed? Sorry, I digress.
This film is the first film about first love I watched after "The Girl We Chased Together in Those Years". Perhaps, the most touching first loves are all unsuccessful, and when the first love gets married and falls into reality, there is nothing to say. First love is a transparent and fragile crystal ball, which holds our truest and purest emotions, but it cannot withstand any blows. So, Seungmin didn't even have the courage to take a look when he saw that the senior wanted to kiss Seo Yeon. When Seo Yeon saw Seungmin leave, she didn't have the courage to ask a question. Even though she treasured the house model he made, he treasured the CD she left him.
When telling the story of first love, this film focuses on Seungmin's life; when telling the story of coming of age, it focuses on Seoyeon's life. This way, to some extent, hints at the transformation of the relationship between the two people: the man chases the woman in the first love, and the woman chases the man in adulthood. As a result, we found that although two people seem to be active and passive, they have always loved each other.
I have to say, this movie touched me more than "Those Years". Maybe it's because I like dumb boys, haha. The movie shows Seungmin's words and deeds in his first love very real, and many scenes make people smile. For example, the nervousness and entanglement before he secretly kissed Seo Yeon, the trembling during the kiss (the close-up even made me feel his heart throb), the stiff body after the kiss, and the panicked expression on Seo Yeon's wake up. Another example, when he heard someone mention Seo Yeon, he pretended to be indifferent but couldn't hide his curious expression.
Fate is sometimes God's will, sometimes it's manpower. Seo Yeon's intention was to create a chance to meet the tall, handsome and rich senior, but she ended up meeting the introverted and shy diaosi Seungmin. Not all girls like being tall, handsome and rich, but Seo Yeon slowly fell in love with this boy who was not very good at speaking but was "obedient" to her. More than ten years later, Seo Yeon insisted on asking Seungmin to build a house for her, and Seungmin built a house for her. This matter has the meaning of a long-cherished repayment for both of them. The first love that died with the end of "Introduction to Architecture" many years ago caused a huge emotional defect in the hearts of the two people, which no one can tell and make up for. Building a house is two people's retrospect of their first love, and it also pinned their expectations for the future. The house was built, and the knot was finally opened. Although the ending is a kind of regret, "this regret" is no longer "that regret".
I think this film can impress me because it is full of real and moving details while creating small freshness and romantic dreams. For example, the refrigerator that Mr. Shengmin's had been stuffed with for decades, the T-shirt with the misspelled letter, and the iron door that was kicked in a corner.
Finally, I want to say that walking along the rails tremblingly is really romantic. I can't help but think of many scenes in romance movies.
