Perhaps not the funniest movie, but definitely one of my favourite in the genre in large part due to Russell Brand's hearty performance. The fun comes not from slapstick moments but witty dialogues that really requires one to indulge in before understanding the premise of the dialogue. Even rockstars can be lonely, but at least it is better to be wanted than forgotten. Jonah Hill continues to be himself and it has to be noted that the movie definitely has one of the best soundtracks in all comedies. Just... enjoy a Jeffrey and stroke the furry wall.
