The video of the little girl’s desire is directly given. She wants her mother to cook delicious meals, her father to organize a beautiful garden, a warm and interesting neighbor, and a warm and tidy room, but due to the busyness of her parents, these are all can not achieve. So when she went to the world where everything could go as she wished, she was naturally bewildered, but who could guarantee that she would not be confused? Just like the parents of a little girl, each of us has some dissatisfaction with our own life, the homework is too difficult, the teacher is too rude, busy but no hope, sad and lonely but no one understands, so we Always craving for more, always magnifying these flaws in life, and ignore the happiness you already have. For example, homework is difficult but exams are always easier; teachers are difficult but you can always find classmates to help you name them; Home can always be comforted by parents. In short, life is actually not as bad as it seems, but if we always think that what we don’t get is better, keep grabbing and forget to cherish, we will definitely not be happy, we will be easily confused, and we will definitely very tired. But if you think about it, we can easily fall into that vicious circle. When our desires are not satisfied, we do not feel happy no matter how good our lives seem to others.
Take myself for example. When I first came to college, I always thought that my roommates were not good enough. A classmate is a roommate, because it is easier to chat with them, and it is more fun to be with them. So at one point, I actually had the opportunity to live with one of them for a while. I just found out that it wasn't what I thought it was. Although I can still chat with her, she also has times when she is bored, when she is strange, and when she is not comfortable with me. It suddenly dawned on me how stupid I was, not because others were not good enough, but because I was always dissatisfied. I can clearly have fun with my roommates, have fun with each other, discuss social topics intensely, and seriously explore academic assignments. Although I already have a lot of happiness, I always forget to always expect more. On the other hand, life is always imperfect, and we cannot live in an environment where everything is the same as we imagined. Others have aspects that I like, but there must be aspects that I don't like. I have no right to ask other people to live according to my ideas.
So since then, I have constantly reminded myself to accept the flaws in life, learn to cherish and learn to be satisfied.
