The first movie of mankind was called a train pitting. The content was that a train pitting into a station. People at that time were always frightened. I imagine that they will go to the movies again and again to feel this realistic shock.
Just like we are facing 3D movies and four-dimensional imaging experience today. Movies used to be a novel adventure for us.
In the Hugo era, human beings entered the industrial revolution, and they were obsessed with their ability to create machines, a new type of activity that did not require human labor.
Looking at us now, we are tired of machines and start to want to understand ourselves again, advocate hand-made, walking, primitive life, and reject machines just like allergies.
We always want to discover something new, be happy, be broadened, be fascinated by it, and find the self; and then get lost in it, and then get tired, and go back to find the original mood. But the heart that has experienced the story has been unable to go back to the past. So I had to look for new things to re-experience my innocence.
This is a cyclical tragedy that is farther and farther away from our original heart. The cause lies in our stubborn and willful nostalgia for our original intention.
This movie thoroughly reviews the original dream of mankind. If it is attractive, it can only attract those who have been reminded of this tragedy. In the end, I forgave its pretending to be naive, and regarded it as a way to return to its original innocence as much as possible.
