First of all, the director is very creative, but the film budget is insufficient: the number of actors is small, and there are basically no supporting roles; the world created is not grand enough; the special effects are qualified. This has led to a decline in the film's viewability, but it is still the most literary comic adaptation film to date.
The character of this film inherits the style of "Pan's Labyrinth" and has a "literary style". The machine is also very good.
The second half of the film has a "City in the Sky" feel, and it's all about lost ancient civilizations, the last heirs, and many of the same robots.
The original comics have many plots related to religion and mythology, with connotation and depth, not only for entertainment, but unfortunately it seems that there is no chance to make a movie now.
The film is a love tragedy.
