The shooting angle and theme of the new version are very in line with the "Dragon Tattoo Girl". It was written from the perspective of this girl, and the characters are more three-dimensional, while the old version feels that the characters are more specific.
The new version is obviously much more cinematic. The picture and sound effects are better, and it looks more exciting. It has done a good job in film performance. The old version is more like a novel in the narrative.
I can watch the new version over and over again, enjoying the sound effects, the cool intros, and the impact of the high-speed editing, and then I hardly ever watch the old version a second time.
However, compared to the old version, I still feel that the new version has deleted some scenes that should not be deleted. . For example, the account of Lisbeth's childhood, etc.
In addition, the new version depicts the male protagonist as a bit low in technical ability but very MAN. . Looking at the old version, I feel that the male
protagonist has strong technical skills, but the people are a little weak and the characters are connected. The new version still has the style of strong emotional connection between the characters of the American blockbuster, all kinds of provocative lines and so on. The plot is also more compact, and the movie will feel full. The Nordic version just feels a bit like Nordic, the rhythm is much slower, and the characters still don’t feel well connected (is it related to the lines or cultural gap?) Some of the lines are really not as subtle as the American version. But it is more clear in the explanation of the plot. Some plots that I didn't see very clearly in the US version are understood here.
Think so much first.
