The helplessness of a middle-aged man's various family problems is like a family sketch that happens around him. My favorite in George Clooney's performance is the two staggering runs, one is running to his wife's friend's house to ask about his wife's extramarital affairs, and the other is following the back of rival Brian Speers. The flustered expression and staggering steps in these two runs were laughing at the old man's uncontrollable marriage life and all the family conflicts that had already surfaced. But although the uncle's performance is in place, he still can't attract me after all, just like his performance in "In the Clouds" also makes me feel that he is quite satisfactory and has no new ideas. I think maybe the handsome uncle is really not suitable for playing such a helpless little role who has suffered a mid-life crisis. I am afraid that the uncle's face is really only suitable for a manipulative hero. So I always can't understand how the Oscar judges nominated the Oscar male protagonist to Uncle George who played the helpless man again and again (could it be because the middle-aged male judges like Oscar are just willing to see handsome guys with wrinkles, Add gray hair, but also look lonely and troubled). Although George Clooney's performance was not good enough, the role of the daughter in the film made my eyes shine, and I boldly guessed that this 91-year-old girl has a bright future.
